About the Anderson Madison County Black Chamber of Commerce
Since 2006, the Anderson Madison County Black Chamber of Commerce has worked to empower minority-owned businesses, strengthen economic opportunity, and elevate Black excellence throughout Anderson and Madison County.
Founded by visionary community leaders, the Chamber was created to ensure minority-owned businesses had access to advocacy, education, networking, and economic opportunity. Today, AMCBCC continues that mission by connecting entrepreneurs, professionals, corporations, and community leaders to resources that create lasting impact.

Our History
Visionary community leaders founded the Anderson Madison County Black Chamber of Commerce, committed to creating greater economic opportunity, advocacy, and support for minority-owned businesses throughout Madison County.
Among those instrumental in establishing the Chamber were the late Reverend Manuel Hunt, Betty Williams, Wendi Carter, and other dedicated leaders whose passion and service helped lay the foundation for future generations of entrepreneurs and professionals.
Their vision continues to inspire the Chamber’s mission of empowerment, collaboration, and community advancement today.
