Diversity Breakfast
In 2023 we did a diversity breakfast called an intentional inclusion. The topic is still relevant and needed and necessary today. We should not only have the discussion about why it is important but also showing it in action. We do a panel, with people who promote diversity as a standard and not a policy. If we have someone on the panel then they need to be a part of an entity that is diverse. Do you make diversity a standard? If so, we want to hear from you! We aim to keep the conversation going.

Presidents Reception
You're Invited: An Evening of Legacy, Leadership & Community
Join us for a special evening as we welcome the new President of AMCBCC and introduce our newly appointed officers and committee chairs. This is your opportunity to hear firsthand about exciting new features, updates, and the direction our organization is heading. We’ll also present a brief public report highlighting what we've accomplished recently and what’s ahead on the horizon.
Our mission of economic elevation remains at the heart of everything we do — and this event marks the launch of a powerful new initiative:
The Rev. Hunt Memorial Fund, established in honor of our beloved founder and former president, Rev. Hunt. A passionate advocate for education and leadership, Rev. Hunt’s legacy will live on through this fund, which will support youth scholarships and leadership development for local minority students.
We aim to build a sustainable fund that provides support year-round — investing in the future of our community by empowering the next generation. The reception portion of the evening will serve as the official kickoff of this legacy-building effort.
Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and drinks (available for purchase), connect with fellow community members, and be part of this inspiring journey forward.
Let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a stronger future — together.

Women’s Conference
A Leadership & Connection Experience for Women of Color
This event is rooted in one powerful truth: every woman deserves a strong support system. Too often, minority women lack the platforms and spaces to be truly seen, heard, and uplifted. EmpowerHER is designed to change that.
Join us for a morning of purpose, power, and sisterhood — where professional women of color come together to connect, grow, and rise. This is more than just an event — it’s a brave space where we share our challenges, celebrate our wins, and support one another on our personal and professional journeys.
You’ll experience:
Real conversations about leadership, entrepreneurship, and resilience
Opportunities to network, share wisdom, and build lasting connections
A community that understands you — and stands with you
A curated vendor marketplace featuring women-owned businesses
Let’s build the sisterhood we all deserve.
